  • Episcopal Day School is a curriculum-based center for holistic early childhood education. The school emphasizes academic, social, emotional, and physical development, preparing students for lifelong learning and success. With a focus on kindergarten readiness, each academic year presents developmentally appropriate academic challenges to keep young learners engaged and growing while having fun. A few examples of integrated curriculum include:

STEM-Based Learning Initiatives: A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program introduces hands-on activities and age-appropriate projects that encourage critical thinking and curiosity in young children.

Art and Music Programs: A focus on creative expression has led to expanded art and music offerings, where children can explore their talents, develop fine motor skills, and express their individuality through painting, crafts, and rhythm-based activities.

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): Recognizing the importance of emotional intelligence, EDS has integrated SEL practices into the curriculum to help children develop empathy, resilience, and strong communication skills from a young age.
